Who We Are

Public Policy Partners is a Maryland lobbying firm with expertise in public policy. Through our work in Annapolis, we noticed that individuals and grassroots organizations often struggle to understand how to become connected to the public policy process, including the legislative process in Annapolis. Public Policy Partners believes that that the public policy process is more effective when everyone’s voice is heard. To increase the ability of individual Marylanders to participate in shaping public policy, we developed an intensive training program to give individuals and grassroots organizations the tools and skills needed to impact public policy decisions.

Public Policy Partners often focuses on groups of people whose voices are not typically heard in state-level policy discussions. We are keenly aware that people directly affected by the policies being debated – whether they are people with disabilities, people in recovery, older adults, social workers, nurses, or others – have an important role and bring an expertise to the debates that cannot be conveyed by a lobbyist alone. We have provided advocacy training for individuals and organizations around the State and are pleased to see many individuals we have trained become effective self-advocates in Maryland.
